Curry Rivel Music
Curry Rivel Music has been running for 45 years, hosting an annual series of classical concerts in St Andrew’s Church, Curry Rivel. The season features four or more evening concerts with intervals for drinks, showcasing music from early works to contemporary pieces. Performances include soloists, duos, ensembles and quartets, with both established and rising stars, including winners of the BBC Young Musician of the Year.
The series aims to support young musicians and also runs school workshops. St Andrew’s Church provides an excellent setting with superb acoustics and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Founded in 1979 by Canon John Simpson, the concerts have featured renowned performers over the years and are supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
Tickets are available via their online store.
There are four concerts in 2026; see here for a list. Four of them are covered by the year’s season ticket; the September concert is presented by St Andrew’s Church; proceeds will go to the church funds, and tickets need to be purchased separately.
