Curry Rivel Parish Council
Curry Rivel Parish Council is the lowest tier of local government. Its over-arching purpose is to improve the quality of life for local residents. It does this by representing the view of the community in consultations (both local, such as for planning, and national when relevant). It sets the parish rate, which provides funds to run the community facilities already under their control and to drive forward projects to deliver new ones.
Curry Rivel Parish Council has nine unpaid councillors and a part-time clerk.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend Parish Council meetings, where they may speak in Public Time about matters relating to the village.
