Giant slain, blind man healed, vineyard workers furious, religious leaders challenged, wayward child welcomed home – just some of the topics we have explored.
Messy church is for families and all ages. It is a place to find out more about the Christian faith, exploring the Bible in a fun, relaxed, informal setting and working out how it applies to us today.
Come and join us, everyone is welcome, whatever your current circumstances or beliefs.
Yes, there is a ‘God slot’ but it is interactive and lively, often taking the form of a short drama sketch or a video /film … giving a focus for our activities and providing food for thought.
Through the crafts, activities, games, refreshments and shared meal, there is much chat and relationships are formed and trust created. Questions are asked, ideas challenged, doubts expressed and faith explored.
Messy Church is generally held once a month on a Saturday 3.30-5.30pm in the Old School Room behind St Andrew’s Church in Curry Rivel – dates vary so do check.
No need to book, just turn up! There’s no charge (donations welcome – but not expected) and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
